To my VNCServer, I added a new monitor (3840 x 2160) and set up my old one in vertical mode (1200 x 1920). When connecting to the VNCServer, the screen alternately shows the main display and a black screen with the message "Cannot currently show the desktop”. Info shows that the resolution is 5040 x 2160 (which makes sense). VNCViewer works when only one (the main) monitor is connected to the server.
This is the free version and I don't have the option to choose only one monitor. I've tried changing settings but without luck. Note, I was able to use VNCViewer with the old monitor when it was in horizontal mode.
Any ideas what is going on and if there is anything I can try to overcome this problem? Thanks.
