Realtime custom downmix 5.1 to stereo with VLC to optimize dialogs

The regular stereo downmix of 5.1 sound with VLC stereo mix option currently is not ideal, since the dialogs are too quiet compared to effects and background music. Is it possible to adjust this downmix in realtime?

And if not, what would be the easiest way to make to dialogs louder?
