I have a question that is not about statistics, but about running AMOS 28 on Windows 11 ARM64 in general. I have a Mac M1 from 2020 and run Windows as a virtual machine via Parallels. So far I have had no problems running AMOS. Now apparently there was an system update and since then I get Runtime Error from Windows when I want to import data into AMOS. The error starts with:
System.Runtime.InteropServices.SEHExceptoin (0x80004005)
And the second screen says:
External component has thrown an exception at System.Windows.Threading.Dispatcher.PushFrameImpl(DispatcherFrame frame)
And so on (see attachments).
What I have tried so far:
- Uninstall and reinstall AMOS
- installed .NET 3.5
- changed the system language to English (German before)
- tried to import the data in all formats I can think of: SPSS, Excel, CSV
Does anyone have any idea in which direction I should look for the solution?
