Completing a probability statement

$\begingroup$

I have been asked to complete a probability statement assuming a standard normal distribution that $P(X≤1.5)$.

I just wanted guidance on what exactly I should be saying as I have not been given the mean or standard deviation to compute the probability.

How do you answer a question like this?

From the comments, $X$ follows a standard normal distribution. This means that the mean is $0$ and the variance is $1$. This is often written as $$X\sim N(0, 1).$$

Since $X$ is already standard normal, then there is no need to standardize and you would use a table or calculator to find $$P(X\leq 1.5) = \Phi(1.5)$$ where $\Phi$ is the standard normal cdf.
