I was hoping to get some guidance on the following issue I am having. When I try to start my apache2 server I get the following error.
user@kali:~# service apache2 start
Job for apache2.service failed because the control process exited with error code.
See "systemctl status apache2.service" and "journalctl -xe" for details. So this is what I do next.
user@kali:~# journalctl | tail

The answer is indicated by the error message:
Invalid command 'ProxyRequests', perhaps misspelled or defined by a module not included in the server configuration
ProxyRequests is not misspelled, so probably you are not loading modules/mod_proxy.so
In httpd.conf, change:
#LoadModule proxy_module modules/mod_proxy.soTo:
LoadModule proxy_module modules/mod_proxy.so 4 I had this problem too.Invalid command 'ProxyPass', perhaps misspelled or defined by a module not included in the server configurationI am using these commands to enable apache mods
sudo a2enmod proxy
sudo a2enmod proxy_http
sudo a2enmod proxy_ajp
sudo a2enmod proxy_balancer
sudo a2enmod proxy_connect
sudo a2enmod proxy_htmlAnd at the end run this command to restart apache.
sudo systemctl restart apache2 1
